It looks so quiet here. I pass this spot every day driving Noah to and from school. In the morning, the water is usually so still that the reflection of the trees is so crisp. As I passed yesterday, I realized I had my camera in the car, and couldn't resist the urge to stop and shoot a few. In my minds eye, we're picnicking on the far side of the lake. We are exploring the abandoned shack with the children, hunting for treasures and collecting bugs (letting them go, of course).
Oddly enough, I don't even think this is a "pond" per se. I think it's just someone's yard that floods.
