Ok, so the photo is staged. Noah and Peter go to different schools, and Peter would be at his mom's in the morning making him unavailable for photos...so they humored me, and had some fun.
I'm not sure yet how Peter did on his first day, but Noah game home with glowing reviews and shining with optimism about 7th grade. He's made a new friend, Tyler, who I think is in all but one of his classes, and got all the teachers he was hoping to.
6th grade was a difficult transition for both of them for different reasons, so we're all praying that this school year brings less angst, and more joy...for them, and us!
Now where's that glass of wine?
