We ALWAYS say the "Bless Us O Lord" prayer before meals, but for whatever reason, Oliver has taken to doing his "own thing". It's always precious, and I almost never remember. Here is his latest:
Dear God,
Thank you for the morning rises, and for when the morning rises, the sun, your heart, and thank you for all the trees and bushes that you made. Amen.
This morning at breakfast, Oliver said a prayer that also began with "Dear God, Thank you for the morning rises" but added, "and thank you for the sharks and the fish and the porkypines."
